Happy New Year 2009!

Happy New Year everyone! I am so excited for this year. It's going to bring a lot of fun surprises and changes. Isaac's football season for the Blitz starts in February and runs until mid-summer, so that's going to be a busy time for us. He's really excited to start playing football again. And to all of my friends in Salt Lake City, a lot of Isaac's football games will be in Salt Lake, so I will get to visit you all soon and introduce you to Phoenix. YEAH!

As for me, I've just been enjoying my new role as a stay-at-home mom. Phoenix is four months and 2 weeks old now, and boy is he getting big! He can do so many new things, like roll over, clap his hands, hold his toys on his own, and we are starting to feed him solids. He still seems to prefer his Mommy's milk, though. =) We have him sleeping in his own room now, which was a very hard adjustment at first but he is doing very well with it. He still wakes up a couple times a night to eat but he definitely sleeps better in his own room.

Being a mom is so wonderful. It was hard at first, I didn't know what I had gotten myself into! But I have adjusted to this new life and I absolutely love it. I am so thankful that the Lord has called me to be a wife and mother. It's the hardest job in the world, but it also pays the best. =)
